Big rock candy mountaineering tuolumne wool pile jacket 1

1

Fleece just got a serious wool upgrade. Big Rock Candy Mountaineering’s Tuolumne jacket swaps the usual polyester pile for 100% New Zealand merino wool, so you get all the cozy, retro appeal of a ’70s pile jacket with considerably more warmth and character. The clever part is the two-way reversible zipper, which lets you wear it pile-side in, like the originals, or pile-side out, like modern fleece. The deep blackberry color is a refreshing change from the usual oatmeal and olive, and it looks great over a flannel shirt with faded jeans. Just know that it’s wool, so it will pill a bit with wear. Think of that as the broken-in charm you can’t fake.

Are you ready for Snap’s new SPECS? The augmented reality glasses can project a virtual screen equivalent to a 115-inch cinema display about ten feet away, so you can catch the game or the latest episode anywhere. The see-through lenses mean you’re still looking at the real world, too. Apps called Lenses handle everything from heads-up directions to a portable whiteboard, plus some genuinely fun extras like courtside NBA drills and scenes from HBO’s new Harry Potter series. Open-ear speakers and six built-in mics take care of calls, and the Swiss TR90 frames keep everything surprisingly light at around 132 grams. They come in two sizes, with a virtual try-on to help you choose. Pre-orders are open now with a refundable deposit, and if you’re in Los Angeles, you can test a pair at the SPECS pop-up in Westfield Century City.

Percival carter cropped trench coat waterproof watcher check 1

3

All the trench, none of the extra length. London label Percival built its reputation on the waterproof Sherlock jacket, and the new Carter crops that same rain-ready design into something considerably easier to wear every day. You still get the classic trench detailing, but the shorter cut keeps your proportions clean, especially with wider trousers or dark denim. The brand’s Watcher Check pattern and contrasting collar give it a little personality without looking like you’re trying too hard. Add loafers or a pair of beat-up sneakers and you’re set for the rest of the season. Consider it the trench coat for guys who never thought they were trench coat guys.

Timex intrepid dimepiece blackout edition

4

Your watch can go dark, too. Last summer, Timex teamed up with Dimepiece founder Brynn Wallner to bring back the ’90s Intrepid. Now the collaboration returns with a moodier Blackout edition, co-designed with Foundwell’s Alan Bedwell. The 36mm stainless case and rubber strap are blacked out entirely, while the cream dial keeps things crisp and easy to read. Little hits of purple on the seconds hand, 12 o’clock marker and Indiglo button keep it from feeling too serious. It also has a rotating top ring, a screw-down crown and 100 meters of water resistance, so you can wear it pretty much anywhere. At under $300, it’s an easy way to own a watch collectors are actually talking about.

Filson chris stapleton signature mackinaw wool cruiser

5

Some jackets are built to outlast you. Filson patented its Mackinaw Cruiser back in 1914, and the design has barely changed since, because it hasn’t needed to. For this limited-edition version, Chris Stapleton dug through the Filson archives and picked out a vintage brown-and-green plaid nicknamed the “Peppermint Patty.” It’s made in Seattle from dense 24-ounce virgin wool that blocks wind, sheds snow and keeps you warm even when it gets wet. You also get four front cargo pockets plus the signature full-width rear pocket, so there’s room for everything. Wear it over a heavy flannel or a chunky knit with sturdy boots. Yes, it’s an investment, but this is the kind of jacket you eventually hand down.

Todd snyder guayabera chambray shirt

1

Consider this your summer shirt, upgraded. Todd Snyder reworks the guayabera—traditionally worn in place of a blazer in tropical climates—into a modern, chambray version that’s equal parts shirt and light jacket. The double pockets and structured front give it presence, while the fabric keeps things easy and breathable. Throw it over a tee or button it up with trousers, it does both without trying too hard.

Nike acg sunrise short

2

These are running shorts that don’t look like running shorts. Nike’s ACG line keeps things technical—quick-dry fabric, built-in support—but the clean cut and subtle detailing make these wearable off the trail too. They’re built for movement, but don’t scream “performance gear.” Which is exactly the point for some shorts you can wear all summer in multiple situations.

Aaron Levine x ZARA Linen twill suit jacket

3

Modern tailoring, without the stiffness. This linen jacket, from Aaron Levine’s second capsule collection with ZARA strips suiting down to something lighter, softer and easier to wear. The relaxed cut keeps it modern, while the fabric brings texture and breathability. The jacket (along with matching trousers) works with a tee and sneakers and still looks intentional, but is also a great option for summer weddings, too.

Maison louis marie liane de tomate candle

4

This cool candle smells like a summer garden, in the best way. Maison Louis Marie’s new tomato candle leans fresh and herbaceous. The scent offers notes of a sun-warmed tomato vine, citrusy verbena and soft florals layered over earthy woods. It’s clean without being boring, and just unexpected enough to stand out from your usual rotation.

Alex mill field pant

5

Your everyday pant, sorted. Alex Mill’s field pant hits that ideal balance, offering a roomy fit without looking sloppy. These are structured without feeling stiff. The herringbone fabric adds just enough texture to keep things interesting, while the fit makes them easy with everything from tees to knits. Reliable, versatile, and actually worth wearing on repeat.

GU x Engineered Garments Cordlane jacket

1

You won’t find a better deal on a summer suit. Engineered Garments and GU have teamed up again for a second capsule collection based on a modern reinterpretation of 1950s American resort style. Designed by founder Daiki Suzuki, the standout for us is this Cordlane jacket (there are also matching pants to create a suit). Cut from a crisp cotton-blend fabric, it looks like a smoother, more modern seersucker. And it was specially designed to minimize skin contact, making it feel as cool as it looks.

Steele canvas steeletex tote

2

It’s your beach bag, but it’s built like gear. Steele’s rugged Steeletex tote leans into its industrial roots with water- and tear-resistant material that shrugs off sand, spills, and whatever else the day throws at it. The open-top design keeps things easy, while the structured all-black body actually holds its shape. Toss in towels, books, gym clothes or groceries, it doesn’t care. This is the rare tote that looks simple but will never give up.

Soft Services x Vacation Buffing bar

3

Two of our favorite niche skincare brands just teamed up for summer. This exfoliating bar combines Soft Services’ skin-smoothing formula with Vacation’s nostalgic, beachy scent. So you’re scrubbing away dead skin, rough patches and pore-clogging sunblock while upgrading your shower experience at the same time. It buffs, softens and leaves skin noticeably smoother without ever feeling harsh.

Buck mason biella linen wool sweater

4

Who wants to wear a sweater going into summer? Well, if it’s this particular sweater, we’re going to bet it’s you. Buck Mason blends linen and wool for a knit that’s breathable, lightweight and surprisingly versatile. The slouchy fit and generous v-neck keeps things easy to layer, while the coastal green tone adds depth without trying too hard. It’s the kind of piece that lives between seasons and ends up getting worn way more than you’d think.

Todd snyder western tipped belt

5

A belt that does more than hold things up. This slim belt adds just enough personality—croc-embossed leather, a refined buckle and a slightly pointed tip—to elevate everything from denim to tailored trousers. It’s more subtle than most Western tipped belts, but reads as intentional and very much “right now”. Exactly what you want from an accessory to make everyday fits look more polished.

Buck mason case study camp shirt

1

Your fall flannel just got smarter. Buck Mason takes a vintage ’40s camp shirt and reworks it in lightweight cotton chamois that feels soft from day one. The boxy, slightly cropped fit keeps it modern, while the washed plaid gives it that sun-faded, already-owned look. It’s easy to throw on, easier to style, and built with the kind of construction details that actually hold up. Wear it open, buttoned, layered—this is the shirt that quietly carries your entire outfit.

Dyson hushjet mini fan

2

Finally, a fan you actually want to carry. You might’ve heard about this launch on The Daily Valet., but Dyson has shrunk its signature airflow tech into an elegant handheld design that’s surprisingly powerful for its size. It’s quiet, portable and built for real life—commutes, workouts, under-air conditioned offices and planes. The design is sleek (of course), but it’s the performance that sells it: strong airflow without the usual noise or bulk. A gadget that earns its place in your summer EDC.

Wills linen cotton chore jacket

3

Just because it’s getting warmer, doesn’t mean you have to give up layering. This chore jacket hits that perfect balance: structured enough to look intentional, lightweight enough to wear all day. The cotton-linen blend keeps it breathable, while classic workwear details (patch pockets, straight cut) anchor it in something timeless. It’s the piece you throw on without thinking and still end up looking put together. Exactly what a good chore coat should do.

Boy smells sauna wood candle

4

Light this and your place instantly feels better. The latest from our favorite cheeky candle brand leans into that clean, cedar-heavy scent you’d expect from an upscale sauna—warm, slightly smoky, but not overly sweet. It’s the kind of fragrance that lingers without overpowering, making it perfect for everyday use, not just “special occasions.” Bonus: the vessel looks good enough to leave out, too. It’s a small upgrade with a big atmospheric shift.

Belvedere dirty brew vodka

5

Your espresso martini just leveled up. Belvedere’s Dirty Brew blends vodka with real coffee flavor for something smoother, darker, and a little more grown-up than the usual sweet liqueurs. It’s rich without being heavy, with just enough bitterness to keep things interesting. Use it for cocktails or sip it straight, chilled on the rocks. Either way, it feels like a smarter, more refined take on coffee-infused spirits.

Levi's Miners trucker jacket

1

It’s not easy to update a classic. It’s difficult, but not impossible. Levi’s takes its signature trucker and gives it a more relaxed, modern shape without messing with what made it iconic. You still get the button front, four pockets and that all-cotton denim that only gets better with wear—just with a little more room to layer. It’s the kind of jacket that works year-round, whether it’s thrown over a hoodie or paired with a tee and chinos. Not reinvented, just refined enough to feel cool and current.

MALIN+GOETZ x Brain Dead Leather candle

2

Want to make your coffee table a little cooler? Drop this candle on there and light it up. MALIN+GOETZ teamed up with the artists and designers collective Brain Dead for another collaboration. And this time, they’re focused on the warm, luxurious scent of leather. It’s warm, a little rugged, and somehow still clean. With a mix of subtle florals, tanned hides and warm wood, it’s one of those scents that works year-round.

Rimowa cabin aluminum grid suitcase

3

Consider this the carry-on you graduate to. Rimowa’s aluminum cabin case is the benchmark for a reason: grooved shell, smooth-gliding wheels and a build that’s meant to last decades, not seasons. It’ll pick up scratches and dents along the way, but that’s the point. The new Grid collection reimagines a stylish archival design from 1969, updated just enough for today’s traveler. There’s TSA-approved locks, the brand’s multi-wheel system and a flex divider inside to keep everything organized. Expensive, yes, but if you travel often, it’s one of the few pieces that actually earns its keep over time.

UNIQLO x JW Anderson Selvedge straight jean

4

Looking for a pair of raw selvedge denim? What if we could offer you a pair that fits the way you want them to in 2026, feel great and (best of all), only cost about 60 bucks? Well, you’re in luck. UNIQLO’s JWA jeans (part of the ultra-popular JW Anderson collaboration) are generously cut from a rinsed selvedge denim that has more character than you would expect from a sub-$200 pair, finished with a rinse wash to maintain moderate firmness while softening the feel against the skin.

Sunski tango sunglasses

5

Simple shades that get it right. Sunski’s transparent Tango frames keep things minimal: clean lines, lightweight feel, and polarized lenses that actually do their job. The shape is modern without being trendy, so they work just as well with tailoring as they do with a tee and shorts. Bonus: they’re durable enough for everyday wear but don’t look overly technical.

Reigning champ relaxed double knee pant

1

These are work pants, that have been cleaned up. Reigning Champ takes the classic double-knee silhouette and pares it back with a softer hand and a more tailored, straight-leg fit. The cotton canvas has enough heft to feel durable, but it’s been broken in just enough to feel light and easy for the warmer months ahead. In this washed sand tone, they read less jobsite, more everyday uniform—easy with a tee, better with a knit polo, and surprisingly sharp with a button-down.

Au concours dyno shirt

2

This is an international shirt. It’s cut and sewn in London from 100% Japanese rayon with a luxuriously louche drape, there are French seams throughout and the labels are made in Italy. As the brand says, it’s “lightweight, fluid, and cut to move.” It feels soft against the skin, and yet structured enough to hold its line. This faded shadow plaid is a pattern you’ll get a lot of wear out of well into next fall, making this stylish shirt worth the investment.

Salt & Stone 818 Collection

3

Your bathroom just got a a delicious upgrade. Salt & Stone just teamed up with 818 tequila for a collection that blends skin-first formulas with a scent profile that feels warm, modern and just a little addictive. Think amber and agave mixed with a touch of soft spice, for a clean-but-not-boring finish that lingers in the best way. The textures are lightweight, the absorption is quick, and the packaging looks good enough to leave out.

Northworks brass star pendant

4

Not all jewelry needs to shout. This brass pendant from North Works leans into vintage Americana with a hand-worked feel that only gets better over time. The star motif is subtle, the finish is intentionally imperfect, and the whole thing carries that quiet, worn-in character you can’t fake. Wear it solo or layer it up—this adds just enough edge without trying to takeover your whole outfit.

Vakker birdy table lamp

5

A little personality goes a long way when it comes to lighting. The Birdy lamp mixes clean, mid-century lines with a playful silhouette that feels more design object than desk accessory. It throws a soft, warm light that works just as well on a desk as it does in a reading corner, but the real appeal is how it looks when it’s off. Sculptural, minimal, and just unexpected enough to make a space feel considered.
