The latest UNIQLO collab has everyone talking. Fellow Japanese brand Needles has put together a capsule line of cozy staples, focused on fleece jackets, cardigans and pants. There’s a lot to like, but our favorite is this relaxed fleece cardigan, complete with drop shoulders and Butterfly logo embroidery to add that quintessential NEEDLES brand accent. It’s available in three colorways, but sizes are moving fast.

How do you make Hoka’s technical kicks even more durable? Partner up with rugged Canadian retailer Haven. Revived from the footwear brand’s archives, the Stinson balances rugged durability with exceptional comfort, ready for any landscape. Kitted out with a custom GORE-TEX Invisible Fit membrane, the tonal grey and black sneakers provide waterproof protection with natural flexibility and breathability. And, of course, they’ve got Hoka’s plush cushioning, rockered midsole and a modern lug sole for comfort and traction.

As we’ve recently told you, you’re going to need a good coat this winter. And Kestin, an under-the-radar Scottish brand just released one of the best ones we’ve seen this season. The label’s Dundas overcoat is cut from a super soft yet sturdy Italian wool blend with a brushed finish. It comes in two classic colorways, a midnight navy and a speckled gray, and is tailored with raglan sleeves for ease of movement and finished with Coroso buttons and a concealed placket.

This looks like the perfect vintage sweater, but it’s brand new. Big Rock Candy Mountaineering has a relaxed, retro vibe but specializes in pieces inspired by the vintage gear the designers unearth around the world. The brand launched last year from two menswear vets (including the founder of Wythe) and these pants highlight what makes it so damn good. They’re cut from heavy-duty cotton duck canvas that can take a beating (but they’ve been washed so they’re broken in from the start). The high-set, wide rear pockets keep essentials within reach on the wall or on the move, and the double knees add extra life where it counts. Of course, they look just as cool when they’re worn on the weekends to lunch.

This looks like the perfect vintage sweater, but it’s brand new. Buck Mason has knit this from chunky Italian merino, giving the finished sweater a distinctive, nubby tweed texture. It’s lightweight, soft yet lofty, so it delivers real warmth without the bulk. Finished with a ribbed mock neck, it stands nicely without constricting your neck and has a lived-in feel from day one. This is a sweater you’ll get a lot of wear out of all season.
