What We’re Wearing
No Jacket Required
Wear a suit ... whenever, wherever
Over the last few decades, dress codes have gradually eroded away to almost nothing. Rarely is one required to wear a suit or even a “proper jacket”, right? There have been plenty of think pieces written about whether or not a man needs to wear a suit in this day in age. But the simple fact remains: When you don't have to do something, that alone is often reason enough to try it. Which is why we're pulling on a relaxed and reasonably-priced suit and wearing it everywhere—from work and weekend trips to casual dates. It's a look we recently saw on menswear writer and all-around stylish dude, Jake Woolf.
Since we're already breaking rules, let's go ahead and pair some navy blue with black. J.Crew's latest suit, the Kenmare, is a boxy, vintage-inspired silhouette that's absolutely perfect for this vibe. Especially when you pull it over an old concert T-shirt (or something similar like this hand-printed tee from imogene + willie). Finish the look with a Western belt that makes a quiet statement and some easy loafers that toe the line between casual and polished.

Maintenance
You should be able to get three to five wearings of a suit before having it cleaned.
