Is it too early to break out the shorts? Perhaps. But this is when you want to buy a good pair, before they sell out. Buck Mason makes some really good hybrid shorts that are cut from a four-way stretch that makes them easy to move in, as well as quick-drying for adventures in and out of the water. The brand's signature Venice Wash combines small-batch garment dyeing and natural enzyme rinsing to create subtle color variation. Which means while these look like the perfect vintage shorts, they feel incredibly modern.

Get ready to see a lot more embroidery over the spring and summer. Call it “the Bode effect,” but brands are definitely jumping on the stitched up bandwagon. Not that we mind. The handicraft embroidery gives an otherwise simple camp collar shirt a more relaxed vibe and of-the-moment style. Abercrombie & Fitch makes some really good (and very affordable) ones, if you want to dip your toe into the trend without shelling out too much.

We're headed into prime tote bag season. This time of year presents all sorts of opportunities to pack a bag and enjoy yourself outside. Or bring a change of clothes for after work. Of course, when it comes to tote bags, the first name that comes to mind is L.L. Bean. This zip-top tote is made in Maine from a a heavy-duty cotton canvas and built for the long haul—including overlapped seams that are double-stitched with nylon so they won't rot or break. While the standard off-white is a great choice, this all black option feels modern while camouflaging any stains.

Mirrors are essential in a home. For checking yourself out, sure, but they also act as auxiliary windows—adding light and depth to a space. And while a standard mirror is fine, an antique mirror is so much cooler. This one, from CB2, has intentional dark spots and antiquing to add some well-worn character to an otherwise streamlined modern design. Much like true vintage finds, no two mirrors will be identical.

These sneakers have a little bit of everything. Designed and tested in the rugged Pacific Northwest, Nike's ACG Lowcates will take you from slick city streets to rugged outdoor trails. There's a slight '90s throwback vibe (like most of the ACG line) and they come with both white and tan laces and we'd suggest swapping out the standard white for the tan immediately.
