Yes, it's summer, but no, we're not ready to give up layers. But that means the layers have to be light and breathable. Thankfully, Buck Mason has heard our prayers. This full-fitting fatigue shirt is cut from loose knit, breathable linen which makes it easy to pull over a tee or tank top. Details include vintage-inspired point collar, old school bellows pocket and flat-felled double needle seams. The brand sourced larger-than-average flax fibers configured in a loose weave, which gives this shirt a subtle grain and rugged look, despite the lightweight feel.

Lightweight fit, heavy vibes. That's the tag line for these shades from Crap Eyewear. The brand is based out of Venice Beach and their sunglasses are handcrafted with premium, optical-grade materials to ensure maximum durability, comfort and 100% protection from harmful UV rays. These frames have a '70s throwback swagger, with squared off lenses and an olive green haze to the acetate frames. Which basically means you feel instantly cooler as soon as you slip these on your head.

Give yourself a little room. As T-shirts get roomier, we've discovered that UNIQLO makes one of the best oversized tees for your money. The quality and design are amazing, but the price is incredibly low. Knit from a substantial but not-too-heavy cotton jersey, the shirt has longer sleeves and an equally upsized chest pocket. It comes in five shades, so at this price, feel free to buy a couple.

When you're not wearing much, let your accessories make a statement. California designer John Elliott recently collaborated with M.A.R.S, a cult jewelry label out of Japan that specializes in intricate engravings crafted from precious metals and stones. Our favorite piece is this two-tone beaded necklace in pearl and agate. Handcrafted in Japan and finished with a sterling silver clasp, it's the perfect length and has a subtle shift from the simmering cut agate stones to the smooth freshwater pearls. Put it on now and there's really no need to ever take it off.

It's bound to be a big knit summer. See-through shirts abound this season, but they're not exactly a subtle look. If you're on the fence, let this be an easy way to get started—a gateway shirt, if you will. With a relaxed fit and a breezy, crocheted texture, the all-white style is a little less loud and a lot more affordable than others on the market right now.
