Wedding Suit

Dressing for a wedding in November is easy—a dark suit and your best lace-ups. But when it's an outdoor ceremony in 85 degree weather at the beach or in the country, the rules are different. Whether you're getting hitched yourself or simply attending, you can't go wrong with a cotton khaki suit. This one from Club Monaco has all the details (half-lining, trim fit and grosgrain taping) that will keep you going back to it all season. And while you could certainly wear a crisp white shirt sans tie, nothing looks better than a light blue shirt. Hamilton 1883's American-made gingham shirting is washed for softness but still looks smart. Bow ties are always an option, but we prefer a narrow navy silk knit tie, which adds just the right amount of formality while still feeling a bit casual.
