Eunice Lee, the designer behind Unis, specializes in restraint when it comes to her brand's clothes. She favors sophistication over flash, quality over quick trends. So we asked her for the essential foundations that every guy should have in his closet. "This is definitely a good place to start," she says. "There are others, of course, but I can see a guy in the pair of the right jeans and a great T-shirt and I am never, ever bored."
Look for a style that you can wear to any occasion or break up and wear seperately.
Not a boxy shaped "beefy" tee, and not one of those skimpy drape-y deals either. Yuck. My "Jake" T-shirt fits in the ams and traces your body's shape.
Keep the colors simple and the collars small.
Simply because they will make you look good.
Go with either a raw or rinsed finish. Lose the baggy denim with detailed pockets guys. Trust me, they are not attractive.
Choose a classic color like heather grey and navy. More durable (and affordable) than cashmere.
They could be canvas like some Supergas or leather like Common Projects, and don't worry if they get a little dirty.
