A Proper Thank You

 

As Anna Post of the Emily Post Institute explained to us once, it's not that expressing your gratitude in an e-mail or text message is wrong exactly, "but sending a hand written note shows you took some time." Translation: It simply means you're lazy and cheap, while a card is "a real, tangible expression of your appreciation."

Tip

Thank you notes don't have to be long or fancy. Try to come up with three simple sentences.
