Be Your Bottle Opener
This isn't a necessary skill, of course. But it makes for a nice party trick and sure comes in handy at times of great need. Here's a clever way of opening a bottle, whether you're cracking open a Belgian beer or Coca-Cola Mexicana, without chipping your teeth.

Firmly grasp the beer bottle with your index finger around the neck, near the edge of the cap.

Take a second bottle and hold it upside down, while lining up the pinches on the caps. It's sometimes helpful to place your thumb over the opener bottle's cap.

Then, pull your bottle down at a slight angle and the cap will release.
