Wedding Wear
Two Ways
More weddings happen during the summer than any other season, so you've probably got one coming up. Dressing for such events in November is easy—a dark wool suit and your best lace-ups. But when it's an outdoor ceremony in 85 degree weather at the beach or in the country, the rules are a bit different. Whether you're getting hitched yourself or simply attending, you can't go wrong with a crisp cotton suit. If you're skipping the suit, keep things simple, classic and most of all, comfortable. Here are two similar looks: one dressed up, the other more casual.
The Suit
You could wear a tie, but if you want a more nonchalant look, opt for an open collar. A pocket square is an easy way to dress up the suit without looking too formal.
Cotton suit, $499 by Suitsupply; dress oxford shirt, $89.50 by Club Monaco; pocket square, $10 by The Tie Bar; sunglasses, $32 by Crimson Visual; double monk strap shoes, $130 by Calibrate
Shirt & Tie
If you're going to a daytime wedding or one that's outside or on the beach, you can likely leave the jacket at home. Just make sure the rest of your details are on point.
Twill pants, $198 by Unis; Thomas Mason shirt, $235 by Proper Cloth; cotton tie, $19 and tie clasp, $15 by The Tie Bar; watch, $229 by Daniel Wellington; flask, $27 by Izola; loafers, $188 by J.Crew
