Cascade jacket, $124
Obey Clothing isn't new. Famed street artist Shepard Fairey launched the label in 2001—long before that iconic Obama poster—when he realized he could swap out the spray paint for silkscreens to get his art out into the world. And while the subversive, underground edge remains, the label seems to be growing up as of late. Sure, there are still some loud graphic T-shirts (those likely won't be going anywhere), there are some really stylish, well-made pieces this spring worth checking out. A weather-proof cotton poplin parka with a chambray lining, for instance. Or the perfect slim-fitting sweatshirt and breathable summer plimsols, all at surprisingly affordable price points.
Mountain backpack, $78
