Persol Reimagines
Its Iconic Shades

The Italian brand modernizes but keeps the old school cool.

From classically cool guys like Steve McQueen to Daniel Craig's modern day James Bond, Persol sunglasses have a reputation for being the shades of choice for discerning men. And not ones to rest on their laurels, the design minds at Persol are updating some of their most iconic frames for 2016. The legendary 649 and Cellor glasses have been slimmed down for a streamlined shape with the thicker acetate being swapped in spots for lean lines of metal. They come in a variety of colors and lens options but one thing that wasn't touched? The unmistakable silver arrows at the temples, which are—like so many details found in Italian style—a mix of both fashion and function. They contain the patented Meflecto hinges, which allow for both a flexible fit and added durability. And don't worry—the original styles will remain available for those who prefer the old school look. To celebrate the new collection, they've partnered with Scott Eastwood (Clint's youngest son, who will star in the anticipated Suicide Squad and the upcoming Snowden biopic).
