Well, it seems the gents at Beckett Simonon had the same wish list, because they've just debuted that very jacket. Known for their reasonably priced fine footwear, the direct-to-consumer brand is branching out into apparel by perfecting a timeless menswear staple. Now available for pre-sale (with a deep discount), the all-season suede jacket comes in a classic cognac brown or modern navy colorway.

And while soft calf suede is typically a delicate material, Beckett Simonon's is now waterproof and stain resistant thanks to some game-changing nanotechnology. "It's really amazing, this hydrophobic coating makes the suede 100% waterproof while conserving all of its natural attributes," says co-founder Andrés Niño. "Inside, we used an incredible cotton-linen lining that makes it very fresh and breathable, and then finished it off with double YKK Everbright zippers that will last decades."
