Raise
the Bar

When the asphalt is bubbling, one can hardly stand to have a tie on, let alone make sure that all the trimmings are in place. But once the temperature dips, you should be paying closer attention to the details. Start by slipping on a tie bar. And while Thom Browne (among others) have shrunken some bars to match the widths of those skinny ties, we prefer cocking the standard bar for a jaunty diagonal clip.

(1) Sterling tie bar, $40
(2) $69.50 at Paul Stuart.
(3) $40 by David Donahue.
(4) $95 at Ralph Lauren.

- Matt, OH

Answer
