About
In business since the late 1800s, the folks at Barker Black got a dose of youth from designers Kirk and Derrick Miller. The rejuvenation of the venerable English shoemaker led to the opening of a New York store in NoLita, followed by this California outpost. While known for their elegant dress shoes, oxfords and loafers—some of which have their signature skull-and-crossbones motif tacked into the sole—the brand is branching out with a recent collection of ultra-luxe sneakers.
