Nike Just Updated
Their Most Popular Workout Shoe

Just in time for all those New Year resolutions, Nike has updated their most popular training shoe, the Metcon. When it came time to refresh the hardwearing sneaker for its fourth iteration, the brand's designers had plenty of feedback on what was working well and what could be better. They took a don't-mess-it-up approach and kept some things exactly the same, and improved what needed improving.
The outsole, for instance, with its grippy tri-star design (for traction in multiple directions), remains the same. And now that same rubbery tri-star shape has been individually printed on the shoe's upper—adding strategic durability where it's needed most (high-wear areas like the toe box and sides) and leaving mesh for breathability and flexibility in other spots. They also updated the tongue and forefoot cushioning to hug your foot better and added a sixth set of eyelets, allowing the wearer to fine-tune the fit and feel for better support.

In short, they took their most popular fitness shoe and let their most elite training athletes beat them to hell for months. They then took that info and found ways to make the shoe even better. The Metcon 4 comes in five different colorways and you can even design your own with Nike iD. So get yourself a pair now and let it help you make 2018 your fittest year yet.

Swap Your Shoes
Exercisers who used multiple pairs of sneakers for various workouts were 39% less likely to be sidelined by an injury than those who constantly wore just one.
