There's a reason why a pair of corduroys is a perennial fall favorite: besides being comfortable and warm, the pants easily pair with the rest of your cold weather gear. Forget the preppy vibes that the baggy, wide-wale ones of yesteryear conjure up. Today's best cords utilize a thin-wale fabric and a trimmer, more tapered silhouette. In short, they fit and feel like broken-in jeans and add some sharp, seasonal texture to your kit. And while there's nothing wrong with classic browns and shades of tan, don't be afraid to try some other shades to add some casual color to your wardrobe.
