The Ikat
Pocket Square

The Hill-Side's spring collection contains a lot of great fabrics from beyond Japan. We like a lot of their South American-inspired pieces, like these rad Ikat prints from Guatemala. Ikat is a dyeing technique which creates patterns using process similar to tie-dye on both a fabric's warp and weft fibers. This blue Ikat stripe is made from genuine fair trade Guatemalan fabric, and is selvedge along one edge. It's a great way to add some global flair to a khaki cotton suit or sport coat, especially when paired with a chambray shirt underneath.

Styling Tip

Pull a Springsteen and fold it into the back pocket of your jeans. It also doubles as a convenient way to wipe your phone screen.
