Question

How are you supposed to put on cologne? I've put it on my body, but it seems to last longer when I put it on my clothes.  - Steve, Minneapolis, MN.

Question
Well, there are  few places. Tom Ford famously remarked that he sprayed his crotch, but well, that's Tom Ford for you. Whatever you do, don't spray it on your clothes; it may damage/stain the material, the scent might get rancid over time, and, if you change your scent, you'll be stuck with a jacket or sweater that smells like old cologne. A few spritzes on your neck should do. If you're really want to ensure you'll be smelling it all day, give one (just one) to your hair. Leave the dabs on the wrists and behind the ears for the ladies. Besides, it can actually crush the fragrance's molecules, altering the scent.
